A Big Thank You

This post goes out to ScottZ of Old School Jump.

On another blog, I offhandedly mentioned that none of my local game stores were participating in Free RPG Day.

Scott volunteered to share some of the swag he picked up.

He graciously sent me two Mutants and Masterminds books (a friend would like to play supers this summer.)

-- AND --

He sent along a die for luck.  Awesome.  I shall roll it with pride!

Thanks again Scott!  Thank you for your generosity!

So far, every package I've sent to someone with a lucky die has made it to its destination quickly and safely...

I hope all who have 'extras' will consider spreading them around.

I'm looking forward to going back to the store and letting them know that their participation has reached to a couple of corners of the country!

Yep, Scottsz is one of the good ones. I griped about the lack of participating FLGS within 2 hours of my home, and he sent me a couple of things PLUS a buttload of old lead he scored at the store. Gratis.
And I know he's sent other stuff out, and plans to gift the rest to overseas troops.
He's definitely the Santa Claus of the OSR.

I was told that participating stores had to purchase the 'kits', so for that cost to really fulfill its 'purpose', the printed stuff needs to find good, loving homes.

The more we 'de-localize' it, the more impact the effort will have...
