The Stirges are DONE!

They aren't great art, but they will do nicely.




I painted their bellies yellow, so I could refer to them as "yellow-bellied blood suckers."

    Very nice! I like how you did the bases, too. Those yellow-bellied bloodsuckers should make a nice surprise for adventurers.

    P.S. I also got a kick out of seeing that Heroscape mini for scale. I use my HS (and also various clix and DDM figures in my tabletop campaign.

    @Desert Scribe - Thanks. The base "texture" is a new technique. I like it. I have a bunch of Heroscape that I use for NPCs, henchmen and such.     @Tim Shorts - Thanks! The price for actual WotC stirges is OUTRAGEOUS! Maybe $8-$12 each and that's for ONE stirge. I like the little swarms better.
