Three Word NPCs
This table is based upon the excellent work of Telecanter, (which you will find here) and Paul Gorman (here) and the posters at Telecanter's page... Enjoy!
There's some awesome combinations to be gotten from this ... sweet work!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a great idea! As a GM that does a lot freeform and on the fly, this table will be extremely useful for those moments where your brain just will not cooperate with you.
ReplyDeleteCoolness! Reminds me of the old "Shakespearean Insult Generator"--I actually wrote one of these in HyperCard back in the day.
ReplyDeleteThat said, this needs to be a download. . .PDF please?
Thanks for the positive feedback. I've turned the list into a pdf. It's here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1629419/three_word_npcs.pdf and it's also available in the Files section.
ReplyDeleteLooks cool, but isn't it supposed to be sorted so the d6 results go 123456 within each d10 result? I think as posted the sorting is kind of off.
ReplyDelete(Note: Also doubles as insult generator!)
@Roger -- good catch! Fixed! And the pdf is fixed too!
ReplyDeleteWow! Talk about "ask and ye shall receive"! Thanks for the PDF!
ReplyDeleteOh, and here's a link to text version of a Shakespearean insult generator:
